Just now, as we were playing in the living room, Anna took her first steps! She was standing up in the middle of the room, balanced and clapping her hands. I said, "Anna, can you walk? Walk?" We've been talking to her about walking whenever she stands, but she never did anything before.
Today, she said, "Walk! Walk!", and then lifted one foot forward and then the other. Two steps! I was so proud, I burst into tears. She was so proud, she fell over! *grin*
Congratulations, Anna! Two little steps in the right directions!

that's my girl! next thing you know she'll be running outside to play, and then borrowing the keys to the car. what a big step those two little steps are!
