We're Home!

We got back in late last night from our first family vacation together, and while it was a total blast, it's really nice to be home.

The girls both traveled really well, sleeping and playing during the flight and staying close to us and behaving during all the relentless ushering from place to place. I was SO proud of Anna, especially, because she really kept herself together, listened well and stayed calm and happy almost the whole trip.

We got to spend a lot of time with Otto and Gerhard and also with my brother Val. We had one evening dinner with Kurt's Auntie Elena which was very special and sweet. We also spent a lot of time with Kurt's friends and all their kids. It was fun to see all the guys hanging out and see the next generation getting rowdy, too. Anna had a great time with all the little girls, since there's only ONE little boy in the whole group, Brendon, who's 1 and a half.
